In my classroom, every student is valued and welcomed, regardless of their background or identity. I recognize that the richness of a campus community lies not only in its diversity, but also in fostering a sense of belonging and inclusivity. This environment allows for the exploration and celebration of differences in backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, anchored in cultural humility and a commitment to ethical ideals. Therefore, I stand unequivocally in support of students, faculty, and staff of all races, ethnicities, sexualities, religions, economic backgrounds, veteran status, physical abilities, genders, political beliefs, immigration status, ages, and other identities. Together, we are dedicated to creating a respectful, welcoming, and inclusive community that celebrates our diversity.
